Making A Purchase

By placing an order, you declare that you are over the legal drinking age of your country and that it is legal for you to import absinthe for personal consumption. We will not sell to those under the legal drinking age!

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout Now" and you will be asked for your address and billing address. The total cost of your order will be calculated based on where the order is delivered to. We accept credit card payment via Protx and WorldPay secure servers. We accept American Express, Visa Delta, Visa and Mastercard.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR PRICES ARE IN BRITISH POUNDS STERLING , THE US DOLLAR PRICES YOU GET ON CONVERSION ARE BASED ON THE EXCHANGE RATES PREVAILING AT THE TIME YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER. WHEN YOUR CREDIT CARD IS DEBITED YOU WILL BE CHARGED USING THE EXCHANGE RATE AT THAT TIME WHICH WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE CARD ISSUER AND MAY BE HIGHER OR LOWER.

Shipping And Handling

All shipments are insured against all risks. If your shipment is lost, broken or not delivered for ANY REASON we will issue a FULL REFUND or replacement on production of proof of delivery failure. Proof of loss or damage (such as photographic evidence) will be required.

We reserve the right to refuse any order to any country that is deemed not safe to ship to, subject to change or application at any moment. If you have placed an order that we cannot deliver for any reason, you will, of course, be refunded in full, and as soon as possible.

AUSTRALIA - We are no longer shipping to Australia, BUT local distribution of several of our finest absinthes can be found at http://www.absinthesalon.com.au/.

CANADA - We are no longer shipping bottles to Canada. This is due to the number of seizures of self-imported alcohol made by customs recently, and on the confusion caused by different regulations regarding absinthe and thujone levels set by each Province.

Countries we cannot ship to include:
Benin, Brazil, Costa Rica, Guam, Guyana, Iran, Jamaica, Kuwait, Liberia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritania, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, Norfolk Island, Oman, Pakistan, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Qatar, St Vincent & Grenadines, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Suriname, Syria, Ukraine and United Arab Emirates.

Delivery Schedule

We will process your order within 12 hours of receipt. Please bear in mind that there may be time differences between your country and the UK, we operate business hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday. Our shippers will normally despatch your order within 24 hours of receipt on a business day.

International orders are NORMALLY received within 5 working days. Please note that our UK shippers and some of their overseas agents do not usually operate on weekends or public holidays. Our shippers require a street address to deliver to, PO Boxes are NOT acceptable. Deliveries usually require a signature, if there is no one at home the goods will be returned to the depot and a card will be left for you to arrange an alternative delivery time. If it is deemed safe, the delivery service may leave the goods by the door.

If you have selected airmail (only available to certain destinations) delivery may take up to 30 days depending on your destination (but normally under two weeks), once again a signature is usually required.

Back Orders

If for any reason your item is not in stock after you have placed an order, we will back order for you, and can hold your shipment until the item is available. You will be e-mailed with the option to cancel or change your order if you would rather not wait.

In order to avoid disappointment, we do not accept pre-orders for items that are temporarily out of stock. Please e-mail us with your request and we will be happy to notify you once the item becomes available for ordering.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or other countries within the European Union, 15.00% VAT will be added.

NO VAT TAX IS CHARGED ON ORDERS DELIVERED TO ADDRESSES OUTSIDE OF THE EUROPEAN UNION. VAT CHARGES ARE REMOVED FROM THE ORDER ONCE THE NON-VAT COUNTRY OF DELIVERY IS ENTERED INTO THE ORDER FORM PAGE.

Credit Card Security


We do not process your credit cards ourselves, this service is provided by SagePay or RBS Worldpay, both trusted on-line payment providers. Your on-line credit card transactions are secure!

Guarantee

Our customer care does not stop at producing the finest products, it continues with our after-sales service. We want you to receive our products as quickly as you do! Our shipments are insured so you can be confident that in the unlikely event of a consignment being lost or damaged we will replace it.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option.Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfill customer orders

Returns Policy

Goods will only be refunded or replaced if proof of loss or damage is sent to us within 28 days of ordering. Please e-mail us a photo of the damage and we will replace the item as quickly as possible.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY: We can only accept cancellations where goods have not been shipped. Where goods have been packed but not shipped we will refund the order value minus the handling charge.

Remittance Terms

Orders are only despatched after full payment has been received and processed by our independant payment provider.
