Sterling Silver Shell Dripper

The 'Shell Dripper' (also know in French as a Brouille-Absinthe - 'absinthe mixer') is a limited edition piece created by the San Francisco metal artist John Troia. It was made to complement our Grand Pontarlier glass but can also fit other glasses.
The shell itself is an original antique sterling silver bowl (there may be slight variations to each unique piece) which has been modified by the artist to sit atop a glass. The two sterling legs and a sterling ridge worked into the underside of the handle anchor and steady the piece on the glass.
It should be gently filled with iced water, which drips through the hole into the absinthe below. Crushed ice and/or a sugar cube can be added if desired.
It makes a wonderful gift for the most discerning absintheur.
