Ordering and Shipping

Payment by Credit card

The easiest option and the one that gives you 100% protection. We accept all major credit cards. We ship to most destinations WORLDWIDE and have one of the fastest delivery times for absinthe, typically under one week to the USA from acceptance of your order - and all shipments are insured against all losses, including breakage and loss in transit.

Once you have placed an order you will receive an email notification that the transaction was successful, followed by another email, usually within 24 hours, advising you that the order has been sent to our shippers. Once the order has been shipped the courier will email you tracking details enabling you to track the shipment online. Shipments are typically delivered internationally within five working days of receiving your order.

You WILL receive your order, intact, or a replacement/refund.

Payment by Bank Transfer

If you do not have a credit card or are having problems with 'Verified by Visa' or '3D secure', we can accept payments directly into our bank account. Simply place an order and fill in your address details and process it right up to the point where you are taken away from our site to the SagePay (formerly Protx) or RBS Worldpay page. When you are asked to select your card you just hit cancel. The order details will be picked up by us but nothing will happen until we get your transfer. Once you have cancelled out of the order, email info@absintheonline.com and we will send you the bank details for the transfer. Please note that bank transfers can take up to five working days to reach our account.

Shipping

All of our beverage shipments are trackable online. For Europe we use Euro Priority from Parcelforce, part of the UK Royal Mail. We have negotiated flat rate shipping which means that up to 30 kg (up to 20 bottles) can be shipped to most European destinations for the same low price! All shipments are guaranteed. For deliveries to the rest of the world we use Global Priority, the highest level of fully trackable courier service from Parcelforce. All shipments are guaranteed.

For non-beverage orders (glasses and spoons) you may select Royal Mail. This service is more economical for smaller orders up to 2 kg as you pay be weight in 20g increments. This service cannot be used for international orders over 2kg.

By placing an order, you declare that you are over the legal drinking age of your country. Be responsible! We WILL NOT sell to those under the legal drinking age!
