It represents the first serious attempt in the modern era to recreate an absinthe from the very birth of absinthe, when the drink straddled the line between liquor and potion, when it was as much magical and mysterious elixir as fashionable aperitif.

70cl 65% abv (130 proof)Vieux Pontarlier Absinthe Française Supérieure is carefully crafted in small batches using alambic stills specifically designed to make absinthe. It is distilled using locally grown wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), which is considered the finest in the world, along with green anise seed, Provençal fennel seed and a variety of additional aromatic herbs and spices.
70cl 60%abv (120 proof)White Fairy absinthe de pontarlier was one of the first absinthe blanches to be made in the 'modern era'. It was developed by Liqueurs de France and produced by the Emile Pernot distillery. It uses only wormwood grown in the Pontarlier region and has a classic Pontarlier absinthe flavour profile.
70cl 65% abv Arguably one of the finest absinthes to emerge from the Pernot distillery in some time. Created by Dominique Rousselet, l'Authentique is a classic Pontarlier absinthe with a powerful bouquet of wormwood.

On the nose it presents an alpine scent of the Pontarlier-grown herbs and a refreshing, sweet taste of green anise, then wormwood followed by fennel with hints of lemon and peppermint.
70cl 72% abvThe lastest batch of Perroquet absinthe is carefully distilled in century old alambics according to historic procedures. Wine alcohol (as used for the greatest absinthes of the 19th century), green anise, fennel, wormwood and other natural herbs contribute to the refined taste of the Perroquet. Its colour is obtained from a maceration of hyssop, petite wormwood and melissa.
70 cl 68% abv (136 proof)Un Emile verte 68 absinthe de Pontarlier is made to a traditional family recipe in Pontarlier, the birthplace of French absinthe. Un Emile was originally recreated with the help of LDF just before the ban was lifted in France and was the first traditionally made French absinthe to be imported into the UK.
