Cusenier 'see-saw' absinthe dripper

Silver-plated absinthe brouilleur. This delightful device is an exact replica of the famous "Auto verseur", originally designed for the absinthe producer Cusenier and popular in the mid-19th century. The dripper is placed on top of a glass and water is added to the reservoir, the balance mechanism beneath allows a rapid stream of drops to fall into the waiting absinthe glass.
