Absinthe Berthe de Joux is the latest ultra-premium offering from the Emile Pernot distillery, it won 2nd place in the verte category at the 2010 Absinthiades, and is the first original absinthe to be crafted entirely by their newly appointed master distiller Dominique Rousselet. This absinthe has a very rich fragrance, and a poweful taste of wormwood.

Absinthe Berthe de Joux absinthe is distilled using a wine alcohol base, green anise, fennel, Pontarlier wormwood and other herbs. The result is a spicy, herbaceous, fresh, peppery and extremely complex absinthe which will appeal to those who like full flavoured 'masculine' absinthes.
